Optogenics Lab

I am considering using Optogenics (located in Syracuse, New York) for lens work in the future. I have always appreciated and valued the opinions of my fellow optiboard members. I'm wondering if any of you are currently using Optogenics and what your experience has been.

I am looking for a high quality lab with reasonable prices and turn around time. Again, quality is of utmost importance to me.

Ohhhh...thanks for bringing that up. I definitely don't want to break any rules.

As far as I know......Optogenics is now a fully owned ESSILOR lab, if that is of any interest.

They have been an essilor lab for quite a while, I belive about 5-6 years, it is still run by Rob and Ron, and have some of the finest customer service personell and lab people you could know. I have used them in the past for 11 years, never a complaint, and knowing that they are an essilor coating lab, and a zeiss coating lab, with no complaints from either company, says it all, i think!

Use them, you will benefit from it!

Their contract is over.
As far as the lab concern greate turnaround time and quality for a prety high price!

Been doing business with them for 8 years now. Price is fair for quality they put out and turn arround is great. Staff are great. Would recommend them.

I am definitely going to give Optogenics a try. I feel much more confident with my decision after reading of your experiences.
