We are looking for an ophthalmic tech, and a NYS licensed optician, in the central NY area. This is an upscale practice, not a corporate or chain. Experience with VSP, EyeMed, Davis, Spectera, etc. helpful, but not necessary. CL Certification a major plus. We have a LARGE and challenging CL practice! Lots of cones etc. We would also consider a trainee, with at least 1 year of experience, and a transferrable permit.
Tech position includes patient in-take, corneal topography, retinal photography, perimetry, auto-refractor, etc. We can train you if you have at least some experience. OfficeMate skill puts you ahead of the rest! This is a growing practice with 2 locations (Syracuse & Cazenovia) and more to come - nice hours (no weekends!), and nicer benefits (including monthly bonuses).
