Optician Needed: Grand Vision Center in Katy, Texas is in need of a full time Optician. The candidate we seek should be competent to instruct, evaluate, train, fit eyewear, and dispense ophthalmic eyewear. ABO certified preferred or certification in 6 months required. Spanish speaking preferred but not required. Job duties will include: analyzing patient’s optical problems and coordinates solutions with the doctor's and laboratories, fitting, adjusting, and dispensing eyewear to patients, verifying spectacle prescriptions upon receipt from laboratory, communicating with optical laboratories and vendors to expedite delivery of optical goods, communicating with doctors and faculty to resolve patients visual complaints and problems.
