The new buttons look good. I also noticed the menu's have more features on them. Of course, now you guys will tell me that all of those instant messanger buttons have always been there ...

Very observant Jo! I added the new buttons today and I modified the templates to start showing the AIM, ICQ and options. In the latter case, I haven't modified all the styles yet, but I'll get around to it!

Jo....Now I know why you asked.I just saw the AIM tag!Now I've got to try to remember my password:o
I still see the buttons as the same...how are they different....or is it that Maria's lilac hasn't been changed? Perhaps its a Netscape vs IE thing but they still look the same to me!

Morning Harry:

On the front page and in the bottom lefthand corners of the replies the vbulletin check mark has been replaced by a round "OB" button. At least it has changed in Arizona Desert Sky. Sorry, I can't speak for Maria's Lilac. I would take a look and see but ... I haven't had my AM coffee and that could be quite disturbing.

Jo-Mine are still square.Do you think Maria would mind if I went to Desert Sky to find out what you are talking about...Just for a moment though...Heck she'll never know I left Lilac, even for a brief time!:) :) This isn't her forum she'll never find out!

Harry, so far I've only had time to redo the buttons on the Arizona Desert Sky style set. Take a look at the home page with this set and let me know what you think of the round buttons.

What follows is the best recollection of the post I deleted once I re-read your original post:) :) and learned that if we were Really good we could have ours as well.

SOME people will do ANYTHING to hype their favourite colour!(note spelling John) They will go to ANY length to bring us around to Their way of thinking and that includes using all of their powers to accomplish this end!!
The buttons are indeed VERY impressive....but not quite impressive enough for me to leave the lavender comfort to which I have become accustomed.Fellow optiboarders it is time for us to unite under the purple banner and DEMAND equal treatment under the rules.
"New Buttons" is our plea and our cry! GO THE LILAC!

When can we have ours??Please....Pretty Please...

Steve please just do it, Hc has for sure lost it now :hammer: its got to be the LILAC color (note yankie spelling) thats addaling his brain.

But how about a HEALTH warning at the top of the page..

PPS The New buttons are great.Its almost as if they Light Up! when there is a new post.I'm sure there's more to discover but that and the AIM is all I've seen.
