OCTAGONAL TORTOISE SHELL & GOLD FRAMES
with TWISTED GOLD temples -- First Quality $380

Prescription Polycarbonate Photo-Sun or "TRANSITION" Lenses
Near New, NEAR PERFECT, rarely worn.

These are first-quality Emperio Armani eyeglasses prescribed for me by a professional optometrist who was President of California Optometric Association. If they are not your prescription, the eyeglass frames are perfect for your lenses. The black leatherette (or leather?) case looks terrible because I carried these glasses around with me in my purse. (I wear contacts and NEVER take them off until bedtime, so these glasses were rarely worn.)

If you are buying these for the lenses, they are near perfect (if there are scratches, I can't see them). They are polycarbonate photo-sun lenses that quickly turn dark in the sunlight. (See photos.) If this is your prescription (Lense Prescription = R, 6.00; L, 6.50), they will be perfect for your eyes.

If you want a designer frame AND case, these are for you!

Please visit my "About Me" page for information about for-the-home and personal items I list on eBay. Shipping will be actual cost plus $1 handling. Please use domestic/international rate calculator in listing. If it does not "compute," please let me know! ...and HAPPY BIDDING!

I'm sure you would look lovely in them and if they're not your Rx I'm sure you could put new lenses in them. Remember they were prescribed by the President of the California Optometric Association. That's kind of like royalty. I'm sure they would be a bargain at twice the price.

If you happen to be the lucky winner be sure a post a picture of you in your new stylish frames!! :bbg:;):bbg:

If they are genuine turtle shell frames they are worth every cent. Turtle shell frames can last forever. (used to cost a fortune)

However their manufacturing was discontinued in the mid 1960s, because of environmental laws and the manufacturing was complicated and all hand made craftmanship.

Furthermore the Armani brand name did not exist then.............so I would strongly doubt that the value is not more than for an old plastic frame with some gold plated or anodized temples. Give em 5 bucks.

Are they -6.00/6.50 or +6.00/6.50? Prescription information is a bit lacking.

I don't buy a thing she's saying.

 My guess is she aquired them from a donation box in a post office, bank, or church and brought them to an optical (which she is known to be a PIA) for a thourough RX neutralization.
