Perhaps some of you remember that I posted here a while back with suggestions about how to improve Optiboard and keep it from falling into the quagmire that I have seen other forums fall into. I have been lurking here off and on and I see that most of what I predicted has come true. I'm referring to Steve's posts in the News forum under "Consumers and Optiboard".
Of course it's entirely possible that you people were already moving in the direction I pointed in and that you may have gotten here anyway even if I hadn't said anything. Nevertheless though I like to believe that I contributed something and that my posts influenced the thinking of a few of the mods.
This forum is now completely different from places like sci.med.vision in Usenet - and I mean that in good way - and it will stay that way as long as the mods stay focused on what they want this board to be. You people don't need any Otis Brown or "Aceman" in this forum! :finger:
If you are wondering why I seem to care so much about Optiboard - well I have learned so much from lurking here that I doubt that I will ever have to ask any questions myself! Good informative places like this one are hard to find among all the "noise" out there. I hope you will keep up the good work!:cheers:
