I want to know, what are the requirements to open an Optician web site. I'm thinking about importing eyeglasses from an overseas optician and sell them online. By the way, I'm a web developer not an optician. Thank you!

You will not get any help on this matter on these forums. As you will see from reading other posts regarding the sale of spectacles on the web our views on this matter are quite clear. As professionals we do not support this kind of thing as it cheapens our proffesion and provides no real benefit to the patient.
Posting on this forum asking for help in setting up one of these websites is just asking to be flamed to be honest.

Open the website with my blessing. You will end up sending me a bunch of educated ptients. And since the education will only cost them a few bucks, I think it will benefit the consumer. Get your site going with my professional blessing.

You will be under close supervision by the FDA. Only registered manufacturers products are allowed to cross the border, so you can not import and sell any second rate product made in "wherever"

The state boards in Georgia may watch you very carefully. What is your website?
