Any recommendations for selecting a compact, relatively inexpensive automated visual field machine which performs screening and threshold VF tests quickly and accurately? I have been looking at the Oculus Easyfield and Humphrey FDT. If there is anyone currently using either of these machines, I would appreciate your feedback: why you chose the instrument, what you like about it, and what you don't like, etc. Thank you for your time.

I've used many different field analyzers by Humphrey, and I've always been extrememly pleased with their products. Although it is no longer exactly "new" technology, the SITA (sp?) program really speeds up the field analysis process (which is important for patients who don't have the endurance to complete a longer test).

As I recall, the Humphrey was never the cheapest (from corneal topographers to lens analyzers, etc...)- but I've always thought they were the best. Also, I was always pleased with their service.
