Wavefront Spectacles?

OK whats the deal with this wavefront technology. I just had someone tell me they can "demo" the vision you can expect to get if you get Wavefront refravtive surgery... using a pair of "wavefront" spectacles. Claiming va of up to 20/6. Firstly, that would be virtually impossible. Like reading an insurance contract from 20 feet away. Secondly, I beleive only about %10 even get 20/20 following refractive surgery. Enlighten me please.
