Any travel plans this summer ?

I am planning to travel to India this summer. We are finalising package with a tour operator.

My wife wants to see Taj Mahal. Children want to have good time as well.
We are planning a 14 day trip.

How about you ?

I just got back from a weekend trip to see my family and friends in another state (where I'm from). Why I tend to visit during the hot months is beyond me. :hammer:

I am planning a trip to Victoria, BC to see the Butchard Gardens (and the fireworks display on Saturday night). I'll be taking the ferry over from (probably) Port Angeles. (I LOVE Victoria!!:D )

Then, I'm probably headed to Vision Expo this September - hopefully with a friend from Minnesota I haven't seen in a couple of years .

Vision expo for summer vacation. Well, it'll still be summer here and all...

Business took me up to Calgary a couple weekends ago, and one visit was enough to convince me our next vacation will be flying to Calgary, renting a convertible, driving to Vancouver over a three day period, and a final stop to visit friends in Seattle.

The mountains are so beautiful, the weather is nice and cool, and the people are simply lovely (and the Ice Wine is abundant).

The only question now is whether to take the kids or not!

:idea: Make sure you travel through Jasper and Banff on your trip, and I hope to hear about your great trip to Vancouver. (maybe we'll host an Optiboard get together if you do come out our way.)
