national group for optical women??

If I remember correctly there is a national group for women in the optical industry...Women from frame companies, labs, opticians, etc... Sound familiar to anybody?

Try Jobson.com. Last months 20/20 or Vision Monday had an article about this group. They gave an award to some guy from Walmans.

The Optical Women's Association can be reached at owa98@aol.com.
They did indeed present the Pleiades Award to Pat Patterson of Walman Optical. According to Vision Monday, the OWA membership now totals 150 members and dues prior to June 2000 are $125.
