Has anyone tested or is using microwave tinting? Will it work on the trivex material?

I have been doing it for a few months now, and I like it.
The one thing I learned is constant mixing. What happens is the die stays at the bottom of the containers, so you really have to shake it. Then when you use it the die tends to build up at the bottom, so before dying I take a spoon and make sure I just do not stir it, but also scrap up the bottom.
It takes me about two four minute cycles on medium to get a really nice tint. Much better than the die pots.
As for trivex, I have no idea.
Actually, Optiboard member Chris Ryser owns the company who invented the product, so he could help you a lot.

Does it work well with dark gradient tints, "Match sample lenses exactly". What about tints the patient wants to match, " I brought this clipping from a magazine. Can you match the color?".
