Anyone else decided to take the plunge and upgrade to win ME :D Just installed it on mine (upgrade from 95) took about an hour. and things look to be going ok (touches head) much better looking than 95 and will be interesting to see if it more stable than crash bang 95 :D

just found an interesting quirk with ME .You can't restart in DOS or format a bootable system
floppy disk could cause problems if you want to run the likes of partition magic.or suffer a major crash ???
jack :(

I use it on my office computer and it works fine. Though there was a problem with AOL that I had to call Microsoft to get it fixed.

It will NOT work on my home computer because of the hard drive manager I have on my 20gig.

Do you mean the type of prog that overrules your bios so larger hard drive's work ok ?
I have one on mine a western digital 10.2 gig using their ezdrive software and it installed ok. This had me thinking when i was going to install but gave it a try anyway.

Yes. Because my computer at home is an IBM and I installed a high cap HD, I would have to re write the BIOS in order for it to work. Not exactly worth the effort.
