Yeah - what a holiday. Here I am again working at my computer, just like every other "day off" I have. ;)
As for the Independence thing, your guys really shouldn't have worn those bright red coats. They really made for easy targets!

Hi John,
Just wanna mention that, on occasion, they show British Parliment proceedings live on one of our news channels- some of the most fascinating stuff! I've never seen anyone use such polite titles ("the right honorable, so and such") and yet basically say "bite me!" I wish our Congress had similar style in debate. I also gotta admire the way the two sides face each other.
As to Independence... thanks for the "well wishes." Fortunately for you Brits, we might have left the empire, but we remained allies!
