Are there any factors that I should be considering in choosing a 1.67 (or other index) progressive given the following Rx:

Sph. Cyl. Axis
Rt. -1.00 -4.25 82
Lt. -1.50 -3.25 82

Reading +1.75

Right now I am considering the Ovation (transition) carried by Costco (I have reviewed the Costco posts and so far I have been very impressed by the staff and Dr. at our local store) and I currently wear Hoya progressives and I had no problems with adaptation. I am an attorney and I do a great deal of reading and computer drafting of documents during the day.

Thanks in advance for any comments!

Use a free form design like Zeiss's Individual or Rodenstock's Multigressive 2. Both use atoric curves resulting in clearer and more comfortable vision at all viewing angles. Strongly recommended due to the higher degree of astigmatism.

Hope this helps,

Dear Tobylima ,

1. The best of your Rx , you have to going for Free Form PALs ;

1.1 The best : Varilux Ipseo 1.67 ( Also the most expensive more than double price of all PALs )

1.2 The second best : Rodenstock Impression ILT 1.67

2. In case that you would like to save your cost you can going for Semi-Finished PALs like Varilux Panamic 1.67

3. No other! because " Life is beautiful and sight is life "
