Just to prove that people will complain about anything if you give them a chance....I have a question for ya.
When I go to a particular forum,the "folders" on the left side of the topics are color-keyed to tell me whether there are new posts since my last visit. That's Great...The problmem is, for me at least....when I've been "through" a few topics, I don't remember which one's I've read and the "folders" don't change color each time I go back to the main forum. I've tried refreshing the page manually and it still doesn't work. Do I have to log off the site and then back on? Or should I just shut up and wish I had bigger problems to worry about? ;-)

You're right - the colored icons are behaving that way for me too. I really don't have a fix for it. In fact, it would be difficult to fix because if the cookie is reset after reading the first message then it would reset the icons as well.

What I've been doing is going by the date and time when I read the messages. It's really not that difficult to keep track - but then again I'm not a whiner. http://www.sonic.net/~smachol/ubb/tongue.gif

Thanks for the prompt answer, but you are assuming that I am lucid enough to remember what time I last read the Optiboard, even going so far as to assume that I know the current time. Some people! They expect too much from me ;)

Really though, that's the same thing that I have been doing I was just wondering if there was a fix for it and thought I might win the "Find the New Optiboard bug of the day" award. I understood there was a prize like a free pair of Transitions or a Ferrari...or something like that. :cool:
