Looking for some helpful thoughts on presentation software.

I would like something fairly easy to use which also can support animation features.

I understand "Power Point" is one of the more popular programs but what other alternatives are available at a decent value?

Thanks,
Kevin

Kevin,

I started out years ago using Freelance Graphics, and have used Corel, but ultimately, PowerPoint is the way to go. It's very user friendly, and if you are going to present in various situation, using different media, it's really the one that works best. It's quite reasonable and very user friendly.

Kevin,

OpenOffice comes with a program very similar to Power Point.

Tip for Powerpoint: There are a lot of fancy things you can do, but keep it simple. People are there to listen to you and not be dazzled by spinning words.

Thanks for the info.

I found some power point clone presentation software but believe I will be going with the real McCoy. I believe it is likely to be more compatible with other Microsoft applications that I use.

I hope it is easy to learn since my first sunwear presentation is at a sporting goods store in two weeks.
